Gas Industrial Heaters

Gas heaters will heat either a room or an area outside through burning either natural gas or petroleum. There are basically two kinds of heaters: the Bunsen style burner and that which uses radiant heat. There are many aspects of gas industrial heaters, so when it comes to shopping for them, it's important to know what each do and what the specifics of them are.

Natural Gas Industrial Heaters

Natural has heaters use natural gas, which is piped into a home or building just like water. You'll pay a separate gas bill, just like other utilities. Depending on the area, you'll either have a tank delivered or you'll be piped into a local, large tank. Natural gas is the most common and will allow you to heat an indoor room, patio, spa, outdoors, or even a stove.

Propane Gas Industrial Heaters

These will typically generate a "circle" of heat, ranging from 10 to 20 feet. Propane gas heaters are most commonly seen in patio heaters and grills. The propane tank can range in size depending on the application, but typical gas industrial heaters will be of a significant size. Once you purchase the tank, you'll be able to have Gas companies come and refill the tank or, depending on size, you can take it to get refilled at various places.

Once you've decided whether you want propane or gas, you'll be able to move on to other questions. Natural gas and propane often comes down to space, cost, and availability. Not every town has natural gas available, so you may have to go with propane if you want gas industrial heaters.

Bunsen Style Burner Or Radiant Heat Industrial Heaters?

The Bunsen burner style is a "mushroom heater" which looks like a giant version of the Bunsen burners you used in high school chemistry. It heats the air locally and then spreads through convection. It is the most common style for gas industrial heaters and is usually the cheapest option.

Radiant heat is still limited, but is great for outdoor applications. It's a fairly new technology but doesn't work through convection. Instead, it works by way of absorption. So rather than trying to heat a large volume of outdoor air, you'll heat via thermal radiation, where the heat is absorbed by people and objects within its path.

When shopping for gas industrial heaters, you'll have a wide variety of brands and models to choose from. There are also companies that will custom build a heater based on the specific needs of an individual or business. As technology gets more and more advanced and resources are getting more limited, gas is becoming a choice amongst businesses that are looking to be environmentally responsible.

Gas industrial heaters can be small or large, costly or inexpensive. How hot do you want your space? How big is your space? Answer these and you'll be closer to picking out the heater that's best for you. You'll soon find that your
